TOUCH UPS

Permanent makeup sessions are usually a 2 part service. Second sessions are required to ensure that nothing was missed by observing color retention and to possibly make adjustments. Second sessions must be booked within a time frame of 6-8 weeks of the initial procedure.   It is best to make your follow-up appointment at the end of your first session to guarantee availability. If you do not make your second session appointment at your initial session, it will be your responsibility to reach out to us for your follow-up appointment as you are not able to book the appointment on your own. Keep in mind, appointments/reschedules made after the 8-week mark, will be subject to an extra fee IF space is available. One-time rescheduling is allowed also IF space is available to accommodate your touch-up appointment. Lastly, it is your responsibility to fill out all medical forms prior to each appointment.  If you do not fill out your form and find yourself having to fill out a form during your session this will add more time to the appointment.

HOW TO PREPARE FOR APPOINTMENT:

Proper planning is key to long lasting, beautiful results. The following should be avoided:

• NO caffeine, or alcohol for at least 48 hours before procedure. This includes tea, and energy drinks. (This will prevent excess bleeding, and minimizes swelling during the procedure, which will affect retention). Side note: excessive bleeding pushes the ink out of the skin, which means you will not retain color, and will have wasted both our time, and your money. If it is suspected that you have not followed the pre-care instructions, and have excessive bleeding, We will not continue to perform the procedure on you which means you will either have to reschedule.

• Sun, and tanning should be avoided at least two weeks before.

• DO NOT take aspirin, fish oil, vitamin e, or ibuprofen  72 hours prior to your procedure. Tylenol is ok.

• Discontinue glycolics, chemical peels, and retin-a 4 weeks prior.

• Refrain from using any Alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) products close to eyebrow area, or any skin care products that encourage exfoliation 2 weeks prior to, and two weeks after your procedure.

• No brow waxing, or tinting one week prior. They will be shaped for you.

**If we feel you have not followed pre care instructions, (excessive bleeding) you will be sent home. Continuing to work while you are excessively bleeding is disruptive, and may cause poor retention. At that point, the service would be a waste of your money, and time, so please be sure to follow all instructions.
